ORDINANCE <br /> <br />ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-93-16 <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, that: <br /> <br /> 1. The portion of the zoning map attached to and made a <br />part of the City of Portsmouth Zoning Ordinance which now zones <br />as Office Residential, 0R-75, the property described in <br />Petition for Zoning Amendment Number Z-93-16, is hereby amended <br />and changed so as to show said property zoned as Residential <br />Multi-Family, RM-60-K (Conditional), and that said property is <br />hereby zoned as Residential Multi-Family, RM-60-K <br />(Conditional). <br /> <br /> 2. The property affected by this ordinance by being zoned <br />Residential Multi-Family, RM-60-K (Conditional), is described <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Z-93-16 <br /> <br /> Begznning on the west right-of-way line of <br />Greenwood Drmve a distance of 160.02 feet north <br />from its intersection with Garwood Avenue; thence <br />west 217.83 feet to the east right-of-way line of <br />Bedford Court; thence north along said right-of-way <br />417.50 feet' to a point; thence east 216.85 feet to <br />the west right-of-way line of Greenwood Drive; <br />thence south along said right-of-way 417.57 feet to <br />the point of beginning. <br /> <br /> 3. Zoning Amendment Ordinance Z-93-16 is conditioned upon <br />the following as proffered by the owner, Hampton Roads <br />Affordable Realty, Inc. <br /> <br />Development on the property shall consist of a <br />three-story apartment building and any necessary <br />accessory sEructures. <br /> <br />The apartmenm building shall contain two elevators <br />and will be designed to have a colonial style as <br />shown on Exhibit A, attached hereto and made a part <br />hereof. <br /> <br />Use of the property will be limited to housing for <br />the elderly as defined in Section 40-22 of the <br />Zoning Ordinance. <br /> <br />d. Motor vehicle ingress and egress shall only be from <br /> Bedford Court. <br /> <br /> <br />
