5. That to the extent that any monies in the accounts of <br />the School Board derived from sources other than the <br />Commonwealth of Virginia are unexpended at the end of the <br />fiscal year 1996-97, and thus become available for use the next <br />fiscal year, the City's share of the appropriation made for <br />education and scholarships for the next ensuing year shall be <br />decreased by a like amount. <br /> <br />6. That this ordinance shall take effect on July 1, 1996. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held on April 23, 1996. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
