AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS NECESSARY FOR OPERATION OF
<br />THE CITY GOVERNMENT FOR AND DURING THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING
<br />JULY 1, 1996 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1997.

<br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth,
<br />Virginia:

<br /> 1. That the amounts hereinafter stated be, and the same
<br />hereby are, appropriated from the funds indicated and for the
<br />purposes specified in order to operate the City government for
<br />and during the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1996, and ending
<br />June 30, 1997.
