R-96-58 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING APPROVAL FOR A GROUP HOUSING USE PERMIT <br />(GHUP-96-04) TO PERMIT CONSTRUCTION OF 66 RESIDENTIAL UNITS OF <br />SINGLE-FAMILY AND DUPLEX STYLE CONDOMINIUMS AT 5601 HIGH <br />STREET. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant, Industrial Development Authority <br />of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, owner of the subject <br />property, has made application pursuant to Section 40-112 of <br />the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia (1988), as <br />amended, for the approval and granting of a group housing use <br />permit for the construction of 66 residential units of <br />single-family and duplex style condominiums at 5601 High <br />Street, Portsmouth, Virginia, more particularly described as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> Beginning an a point on the south <br /> right-of-way of High Street West, said <br /> point being 176.60 feet west from the <br /> southwest intersection of High Street West <br /> and Garland Drive; thence south 494.40 <br /> feet, to a point on the north boundary of a <br /> land subdivision as shown and designated on <br /> that certain plat entitled "Plat of <br /> Property Belonging to Ezekiel C. and Anna <br /> E.
