R-96-40 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO CONVEY A PARCEL OF <br />PROPERTY ON PALMER STREET TO PORTSMOUTH REDEVELOPMENT AND <br />HOUSING AUTHORITY. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, <br />authorized to convey to Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing <br />Authority, under such terms and conditions as he shall deem to <br />be in the best interest of the City, a parcel of property on <br />Palmer Street to be described as, <br /> <br /> "All that certain lot, piece or <br /> parcel of land, situate in the City of <br /> Portsmouth, Virginia, and described as <br /> follows: Beginning at a point on the <br /> north side of Palmer Street 230 feet <br /> west from the northwest intersection of <br /> Palmer Street and Peach Street; thence <br /> west along Palmer Street 30 feet; <br /> thence running north 44.4 feet; thence <br /> in a northeasterly direction 31.9 feet; <br /> and thence southerly 66 feet to Palmer <br /> Street, the point of beginning." <br /> <br /> Adopted at by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held on August 13, 1996. <br /> <br /> Teste: <br /> <br /> <br /> City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
