ORDINANCE NO-, <br /> <br />ZONING MAP AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-95-03 <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, that: <br /> <br /> 1. The portion of the zoning map attached to and made a <br />part of the City of Portsmouth Zoning Ordinance which now zoned <br />as Residential RM-75 the property described in Petition for <br />Zoning Amendment Number Z-95-03, is hereby amended and changed <br />so as to show said property zoned as Office Residential 0R-75 <br />(Conditional), and that said property is hereby zoned as Office <br />Residential 0R-75 (Conditional). <br /> <br /> 2. The property affected by this ordinance by being zoned <br />Office Residential 0R-75 (Conditional), is described as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Z-95-03 <br /> <br />Beginning at the southwest corner of the <br />intersection of Rodman Avenue and Arlington <br />Place; thence west approximately 120 feet to <br />a point of beginning; thence 137.43+/- feet <br />along the southern right-of-way line of <br />Arlington Place; thence south 102.5+/- feet <br />to right-of-way of Winchester Drive; thence <br />east 67+/- feet along the northern <br />right-of-way of Winchester Drive; thence <br />southeast 84.63+/- feet along the northern <br />right-of-way line of Winchester Drive; <br />thence north 149141+/- feet to the southern <br />right-of-way line of Arlington Place to a <br />point of beginning. <br /> <br /> 3. Zoning Amendment Ordinance Z-95.03 <br />the following as proffered by the applicant, <br />Fighters Local 539: <br /> <br />is conditioned upon <br />Portsmouth Fire <br /> <br />so <br /> <br />The applicant will plant a vegetative screen along <br />the eastern property line of the property to buffer <br />its activities from adjacent residences. The <br />vegetative buffer will be opaque from the ground to a <br />height of at least six (6) feet and will be planted <br />by September 1, 1995. A landscaping plan will be <br />submitted to the Planning Director prior to planting. <br /> <br />The applicant will not request tax exempt status <br />for the property. <br /> <br /> <br />
