34 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO VACATE AND RELEASE <br />ALL DRAINAGE EASEMENTS ON A PARCEL OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE <br />NORTHWEST INTERSECTION OF HIGH STREET AND CEDAR LANE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />has authorized the sale of a parcel of land at the northwest <br />intersection of High Street and Cedar Lane to Portsmouth <br />Redevelopment and Housing Authority (PRHA); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there are drainage easements located on said <br />property which impede the development. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the City Manager be, and he <br />hereby is, authorized to vacate and release any and all <br />drainage easements located on that parcel of property being <br />1.715 acres as shown on the plat entitled "Plat Showing <br />Property to be Conveyed to City of Portsmouth From Joseph J. <br />Garner, Jr.," which said plat is duly recorded in the Clerk's <br />Office of the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, in Deed <br />Book 820, at page 56; said easements being defined on the <br />plat of the Subdivision of Lanier Gardens and on the plat of <br />the Subdivision of Lanier Gardens, Sec. 2, and re-plat of Lot <br />17, both of said plats being duly recorded in the Clerk's <br />Office of the Circuit Court of the City of Chesapeake, <br />Virginia, in Map Book 41, at page 91, and Map Book 42, at page <br />29, respectively. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held on April 11, 1995. <br /> <br /> Teste: <br /> <br /> <br /> City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
