AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $12.420,000 IN THE CAPITAL <br />IMPROVEMENTS FUND FOR THE PURCHASE OF LAND AND THE INSTALLATION <br />OF INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS IN THE FAIRWOOD HOMES AREA. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> That the sum of $12,420,000 be, and the same hereby is, <br />appropriated from the Capital Improvements Fund for the <br />following public purposes: <br /> <br />Fairwood Homes Land Acquisition $ 6,420,000.00 <br /> <br />Fairwood Homes Infrastructure <br /> Improvements 6,000,000.00 <br /> <br /> Total Appropriation $12,420,000.00 <br /> <br /> That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its <br />adoption. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held on May 13, 1997. <br /> <br /> Teste: <br /> <br /> <br /> City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
