1997-31 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A NEW CLASSIFICATION AND PAY PLAN FOR <br />EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the. Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That there is hereby adopted a new classification and <br />pay plan for all employees of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />said Plan to be entitled "City of Portsmouth Classification and <br />Pay Plan", to read as set out in Exhibit A, attached hereto and <br />made a part hereof. <br /> <br /> 2. That Ordinance No. 1996-30 is hereby repealed. <br /> <br /> 3.
