ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-96-12B <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of nhe City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That the portion of the zoning map attached to and <br />made a part of the City of Portsmouth Zoning Ordinance which <br />now zones as Residential RS-75, the property described in <br />Petition for Zoning Amendment Number Z-96-12B, is hereby <br />amended and changed so as to show said property zoned as <br />Commercial C-1-K (Conditional), and that said property is <br />hereby zoned as Commercial C-1-K (Conditional). <br /> <br /> 2. That the properny affected by nhis ordinance by being <br />zoned Commercial C-1-K (Conditional), is described as follows: <br /> <br /> Z-96-12B <br /> <br />Map 827 Parcels 86-92 <br /> <br /> 3. That Zoning Amendment Ordinance Z-96-12B is <br />conditioned upon the following: <br /> <br /> (a) The property described above will be used for <br /> the following purposes: <br /> <br /> (1) Post Office, post office parking, post <br /> office loading/unloading; <br /> <br /> (2) Parking for the adjacent shopping center; <br /> <br /> (3) Office Residential 0R-75 uses; <br /> <br /> (4) Employee parking for the Towne Point <br /> Shops. <br /> <br /> (b) A landscaping screen of red-tip photinias, a <br /> minimum of 24" tall shall be planted on 5' <br /> centers: (I) adjacent to the existing security <br /> fence and parking area; (2) along the property <br /> line of the western right-of-way of Pierce <br /> Street, and; (3) along the southern property <br /> line adjacent to the residential property. The <br /> area to be screened is shown on the site plan <br /> originally designated Exhibit 1, Z-89-14 which <br /> <br /> <br />
