R-97-13 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO CONVEY PROPERTY IN THE WEAVER REDEVELPMEITT PROJECT TO PORTSMOUTH REDEVELOPMENT AND HOUSING AUTHORITY. BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to convey to Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housihg Authority the following property, to-wit: PARCEL I Ail that certain piece, or parcel of land, with its improvements, lying situate, and being in the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, as shown on that certain plat entitled "Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority, Urban Renewal-Weaver Redevelopment Project, Boundary and Property Line Map, City of Portsmouth, Virginia", made by R. Kenneth Weeks, Engineers, Norfolk, Virginia, dated January 17, 1967, which said plat is duly recorded in the Clerk's Office of the Circuit of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia in Map Book 5 at page 64, beginning at the southwest intersection of South Street and Thomas Circle, and from thence running along the west side of Thomas Circle S 3°30'16'' E 476.01 feet to northwest intersection of Clifford Street and Thomas Circle (both of which are now closed); thence along the north right of way line of Clifford Street S 86°54'14"E 333.01 feet to a point; thence along a curve to the left having a radius of 50 feet, an arc distance of 100.42 feet to a point; thence S 85°56'55'' W 5 feet to a point of curvature; thence along a curve to the right, having a radius of 15 feet, an arc distance 23.56 feet to a point on the east side of Crabapple Street; thence N4°03'05" W along the east side of Crabapple Street 28 feet, more or less, to a point which is the southwest corner of Lot 31 on the certain plat entitled "Plan of Tabb's Land", which said plat is duly recorded in the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of the City of Chesapeake, Virginia in Deed Book 81 at page 470; thence east along the southern line of Lots 31 and 33 on said plat 60 feet, more or less, to the southeast corner of Lot 33 on said plat; thence north, parallel with Crabapple Street 262.5 feet, more or less, to a point on the south side of South Street; thence along the south side of South Street N68°00'21'E 359.96 feet to the point of beginning.
