R-98-14 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A <br />DEED OF CORRECTION TO THE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT <br />AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA FOR BLOCKS 12 <br />AND 21 IN PORTCENTRE COMMERCE PARK. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there is property located within Blocks 12 and 21 on the Plat of the <br />Subdivision of Portcentre Commerce Park that were not a part of said blocks as <br />subdivided; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a resolution was adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia at a meeting held on March 10, 1998, which authorized the City Manager to <br />convey Blocks 12, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22 as shown on the plat of" Portcentre <br />Commerce Park, Portsmouth, Virginia, to the Industrial Development Authority of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it was the intent that all of the property in the aforementioned Blocks <br />be conveyed to the Industrial Development Authority of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />to include any property located in said Blocks and designated as "not included". <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the <br />City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to execute a deed of correction to the <br />Industrial Development Authority of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia as may be <br />necessary to carry out the intent of the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia <br />expressed in a resolution adopted at its meeting held on March 10, 1998 to convey all <br />land within Blocks 12 and 21 as shown and designated on that certain plat entitled," <br />Subdivision of Portcentre Commerce Park, Portsmouth, Virginia", to include any land <br />designated as "not included". <br /> <br /> Adopted at a meeting of the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia held on <br />April 14, 1998. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
