Section 40-46.2 Standards for Parking Overlay District <br /> <br /> A. Parking Overlay District may be created to reduce off street parking <br />requirements upon a finding by the Planning Commission of the following: <br /> <br /> a) That the proposed land uses in the district are consistent with the <br />City's Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br /> b) That the land use(s) proposed in the district generate a parking <br />requirement that can not be met on site while still achieving the full range and value of <br />potential community benefits of the planned development. <br /> <br /> c) That adequate off-street and on-street parking to serve the land <br />uses within the proposed district will exist within the district and within close <br />proximity to the district and that such adequate parking will continue to be available in <br />the future. <br /> <br /> d) That creation of the district will not negatively impact those land <br />uses and parking supplies adjoining the district. <br /> <br />2. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on July 27, 1999. <br /> <br /> Teste: <br /> <br /> City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
