The rate of pay set forth in Section 10A and 10B, entitled Salary Schedule, shall <br />be deemed the full compensation of the employee, except that the value of any <br />allowances made to the employee by the City shall also be considered a part of the <br />employee's compensation. <br /> <br /> a. On-call <br /> <br /> Non-exempt employees who are required to be available for 24-hour <br /> emergency service and/or repair, and who have been recommended <br /> by the Department Head, reviewed by the FLSA Compliance Officer, <br /> and approved by the City Manager, may receive an allowance of <br /> $1080 annually. Only non-exempt employees are eligible for this <br /> allowance. This allowance is not applicable to Public Safety <br /> Personnel. <br /> <br /> b. Clothing <br /> <br /> Any sworn officer of the Fire or Police Departments who is required <br /> to wear civilian clothes in the regular performance of official duties <br /> shall be paid a clothing allowance of $600 annually. <br /> <br /> c. Field TrainingOfficers <br /> <br /> Police Officers serving as Field Training Officers, as. designated by <br /> the Chief of Police, shall receive an allowance of $540 annually as <br /> approved in advance by the City Manager. <br /> <br /> d. Shock Trauma/Paramedic/Cardiac Technician Certification,. <br /> <br /> Sworn personnel in the Fire Department, except the Fire Chief, who <br /> have successfully obtained the following certifications will receive <br /> annually: <br /> Shock Trauma $900 <br /> Cardiac Technician $1200 <br /> Paramedic $1600 <br /> <br /> l0 <br /> <br /> <br />
