R-98-2 A RESOLUTION GRANTING APPROVAL OF A GROUP HOUSING USE PERMIT (GHP-98-04) FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF SEVEN SINGLE- FAMILY DUPLEX RESIDENTIAL UNITS IN THE 1100 BLOCK OF SOUTH STREET. WHEREAS, the applicant, Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority, owner of the subject property, has made application pursuant to Section 40-112 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia (1988), as amended, for the approval and granting oF a group housing permit for seven single-family duplex residential units in the 1100 block of South Street, Portsmouth, Virginia, more particularly described as follows: GHP-98-04 Parcel 1 Beginning at the southwestern intersection of Pines Crescent (formerly Thomas Circle) and South Street, thence south approximately 127 feet along the western right-of-way line of Pines Crescent to a point; thence west approximately 85 feet to a point; thence southwest approximately 27 feet m a point; thence west approximately 105 feet to a point; thence southwest approximately 37 feet to a point; thence north approximately I00 feet along the eastern right-of-way line of Apple Street to a point; thence east approximately 242 feet along the southern right-of-way line of South Street to the point of beginning. Parcel 2 Beginning at the southwestern intersection of Apple Street and South Street thence south approximately 117 feet along the western right-of-way line of Apple Street to a point; thence southwest approximately 15 feet to a point; thence west approximately 70 feet to a point; thence southwest approximately 25 feet to a point; thence west approximately105 feet to a point; thence southwest approximately 35 feet to a point; thence north approximately 92 feet along the eastern right-of-way line of Pines Crescent to a point; thence east approximately 240 feet along the southern right-of-way line of South Street to the point of beginning.
