R-99-9 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO RELEASE <br />MAINTENANCE AND STORM DRAINAGE EASEMENTS ADJACENT TO THE <br />SEAWALL AND TO PERMIT THE. PORTSMOUTH INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT <br />AUTHORITY TO ENCROACH ON CERTAIN RIGHT-OF-WAY ALONG WATER <br />STREET. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That The City Manager be, and hereby is, authorized to release a maintenance <br />easement, and a storm drainage easement reserved by the City of Portsmouth in Deed Book 634, <br />page 153, Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, said releases to be for the <br />purpose of preparing the site for development of the Conference Center and Hotel Project <br />approved by Resolution R-98-2 and subsequent actions of Council; and <br /> <br /> 2. That the City Manager be, and hereby is, authorized to grant unto the Portsmouth <br />Redevelopment and Housing Authority or unto the Portsmouth Industrial Development <br />Authority such encroachment permits along Water Street as may be necessary to accommodate <br />said Project. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held on <br />February 23, 1999. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
