R-99-62 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO CONVEY A PARCEL <br />OF PROPERTY AT WOODROW WILSON HIGH SCHOOL TO PORTSMOUTH <br />REDEVELOPMENT AND HOUSING AUTHORITY. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the City <br />Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to convey to Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing <br />Authority a parcel of land located at the site of Woodrow Wi/son High School, said land being <br />described as follows, to-wit: <br /> <br /> All that certain piece or parcel of land situate in the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br /> being shown as 0.5726 AC., or 24,944, S.F., as shown on that certain plat entitled."PLAT <br /> SHOWING PROPERTY TO BE CONVEYED TO WEST PARK CHURCH OF CHRIST, <br />PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA", dated December 22, 1998, made by Stephen I. Boone & <br />Associates, P.C., Land Surveyors, Portsmouth, Virginia, which said plat is to be recorded <br />simultaneously herewith, and to which reference made be made for a more particular description. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is authorized to execute such <br />deeds, plats or other documents as may be necessary to implement the intent of this resolution, <br />and to condition and restrict the use of the property in such manner as he shall deem appropriate <br />and in the best interest of the City. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED at a meeting of the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia held on <br />November 23, 1999. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
