The Council acknowledges that, based on the advice of bond counsel, the public hearing <br />held on the general obligation bonds will be sufficient under Section 15.2-2606 for any general <br />obligation bonds in an amount not exceeding $5,950,764.00 the net proceeds of which will be <br />used to finance the School Projects, whether or not such bonds are issued in the form of QZABs. <br /> <br /> The Initial QZAB Resolution is hereby amended by the substitution of "$5,950,764.00" <br />for "$4,950,764.00" in each place such a substitution is appropriate to reflect the intent of this <br />resolution. All other terms and provisions of the Initial QZAB Resolution are hereby affirmed <br />and shall remain in full force and effect. <br /> <br />This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held on <br />September 28, 1999. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
