R-99-42 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A <br />NONEXCLUSIVE REVOCABLE LICENSE AGREEMENT TO INSTALL <br />TELECOMMUNICATIONS FACILITIES IN THE CITY'S RIGHTS-OF- <br />WAY. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is desirable for the region to have additional telecommunications <br />facilities, and Hyperion Communications is installing a regional system which will <br />enhance the provision of additional telecommunications services throughout the <br />region and therefore needs to install facilities within the City's rights-of-way, <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to <br />execute a Temporary Nonexclusive Revocable License Agreement with Hyperion <br />Communications of Virginia, and such other documents as may be necessary to <br />permit the installation by Hyperion Communications of telecommunications <br />facilities within the City's rights-of-way. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting <br />held on July 27, 1999. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
