ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-00-07 BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: 1. That the portion of the zoning map attached to and made a part of the City of Portsmouth Zoning Ordinance which now zones as Commercial C-1-K (Conditional), the property described in Petition for Zoning Amendment Number Z-00-07, is hereby amended and changed so as to show. said property zoned as Commercial C-2-K (Conditional), and that said property is hereby zoned as Commercial C-2-K (Conditional). 2. That the property affected by this ordinance by being zoned from Commercial C-1-K (Conditional) to Commercial C-2-K (Conditional) is described as follows: Z-O0-07 Beginning on the north side of Portsmouth Boulevard 121' east from its intersection with Bradley Avenue; thence north 213'; thence east 75';thence south 213' to the north right-of-way of Portsmouth Boulevard; thence west along said right-of-way 75' to the point of beginning. 3. That the following conditions, proffered by the applicant, shall apply to the subject property: (a) The use of the property shall be limited to the retail sale of flowers, plants and gifts (S.I.C. 5992 and 5947), parcel delivery services (S.I.C. 4215 and 4513) and to the sale and outdoor display of memorials and monuments (S.I.C. 5999). (b) No more than twenty monuments shall be displayed in the front yard of the property. All monuments shall be set back a minimum of fifteen feet from the front property line and shall only be displayed on the northwestern side of the property. (c) Any portion of the front yard of the property not used for display of monuments shall remain grassed and landscaped. (d) The front exterior of the main structure shall be maintained in a consistent color and texture. (e) No sandblasting or tooling shall be conducted on the property.
