R-00-67 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO CONVEY SEVERAL PARCELS OF LAND TO THE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA FOR TURNPIKE ROAD IMPROVEMENTS WITH NECESSARY TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENTS AND THE GRANTING OF SUCH UTILITY EASEMENTS AS MAY BE NECESSARY TO THE PROJECT. BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to convey to the Commonwealth of Virginia the following described parcels, to-wit: Parcel 1. All that certain piece, or parcel of land; lying situate in the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, being designated as Parcel 147 on Sheet 15 of the plans for Route 337, State Highway Project 0337-124- V04, RW-201, along with a temporary construction easement, and containing 0.022 acres, more or less. Parcel 2. All that certain piece, or parcel of land, lying situate in the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, being designated as Parcel 103 on Sheets 11 and 12 of the plans for Route 337, State Highway Project 0337-124- V04, RW-201, containing 0.381 acres, more or less, along with a temporary construction easement of 0.187 acres, more or less. Parcel 3. All that certain piece, or parcel of land, lying situate in the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, being designated as Parcel 205 on Sheet I0 of the plans for Route 337, State Highway Project 0337-124- V04, RW-201, containing 0.004 acres, more or less, along with a easement for construction of a drop inlet for drainage of 0.009 acres, more or less. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Portsmouth,Virginia, that the City Manager be, and he hereby is authorized to convey to utility companies such easements as are necessary for them to remove and reset utilities adjacent to the improved Turnpike Road right of way.
